The visualization of this project comes from the elaboration of the hybrid between architecture and animal. The series of Noah's ark under construction that precedes this series is elaborated in this second phase through those hybrid animals because they were excluded (the story is inspired by the prints of Athanasius Kircher) from the ark.
The hybrid in ancient culture means the deviation from the norm, the breaking of a shared paradigm of normality. The hybrid, in fact, breaks the traditionally accepted classifications, representing the otherness as a whole, the other, in relation to the habitual functioning of a given cultural system, and as such it is like this one in constant change.
Hybrids subvert taxonomies and contribute to the creation of new categories, through which the usual ones are violated, ie: hybrid animals before the great flood. Antiquity was populated with creatures on the border not only between human and animal. which merge into a single body, breaking the very idea of the body.
