Yellow was the color chosen to characterize the design of a 30m² commercial showroom from OEG furniture importer. The yellow refers to Milan the Italian city that is iconic in furniture design. This color is present in its trams and in its famous saffron risotto. When understanding color as a communication element it creates semiotic relationships with the user of the space and becomes an easy element to change its perception. The project premise was to create a showroom of imported furniture and also a place for meetings. The furniture has become the wallpaper in the space where they occupy the perimeter of the room. The meeting table was made exclusively for the showroom became the focal point of the project. The design of the table easel allows the support of catalogs. The services volume was painted in graphite gray in order to highlight it. The white color was used occasionally to emphasize the furniture and the floor was covered with carpet to assist the acoustics, supporting the furniture when touching the floor and to make an easy application on the existing one.
