Ocean Hotel

The Ocean Hotel is a 200 bedroom hotel with dining facilities and health suite, including a spa.  A seven storey building, with car parking beneath, has a principal façade that faces in a southerly direction towards the beach front promenade.  
The guest rooms have balcony decks which offer guests the opportunity to enjoy the outdoor seaside air whilst providing an element of solar shading to the bedroom accommodation behind.

The ground floor restaurant creates a strong visual link to the central resort entertainments complex, thus acting as a focus for the masterplan redevelopment of the site.

Reception is at upper ground floor level which has full height glazing.  Colour is introduced into what is otherwise a monochromatic building through the use of striking multi-coloured night time illumination.
