The office design draws inspiration from the traditional junk ship, a powerful symbol of bravery and enterprise. Just as these vessels carried our forefathers through treacherous waters in search of new opportunities, the workspace reflects OCBC’s enduring spirit of resilience, trust, and innovation.
Guided by three core design pillars—Trustworthiness, Flexibility, and Exploration—the office environment is crafted to inspire confidence, adaptability, and a forward-thinking mindset.
The color palette reinforces this vision: Red, a color synonymous with strength, passion, and prosperity, is featured in the main office areas, energizing the space and reinforcing OCBC’s identity.Blue, representing the vastness and tranquility of the sea, is incorporated into the relaxation areas, such as the pantry, creating a calming retreat for employees to recharge.
