The project was to design interiors for a Residential Show Flat of 1200 sq. ft. in
the suburbs of Mumbai, for one of the leading developer’s in India. Inspite of a
45-day time frame from designing to execution, it made sure every aspect of
the apartment was custom designed and manufactured to perfection by local
craftsmen.
Working with different artisans and materials, the apartment plays with various 3 dimensional textures in tile format such as carved wood/ marble and leather. A continuation of the handmade was seen in all the furniture (solid burma teak wood and marble) as well as the soft furnishings using hand embroidery
on the cushions and duvets to further add the level of sophistication to complete the apartment.
