Tishman Auditorium is located on the ground level of Vanderbilt Hall, housing NYU’s School of Law. The design goals improved on the stage’s relationship to the audience while adjusting the wings and improving acoustics, lighting and AV strategies. A new seating layout, and revised overall design provided updated finishes that were carefully selected to improve the experience of the 425 person audience. ADA compliance at stage and new vestibules and stair access to the control room were also part of the scope.
