This project involved the redesign of the second phase of the Taylor Wimpey portion of the Norwich City FC Masterplan. The brief was to increase the number of units while reducing the build costs. The original large massing has been reduced to a series of smaller blocks allowing for view and routes through the site and increased public realm along the river frontage. Each block is wrapped in brushed aluminium cladding which reflects the adjacent blocks and the movement of the riverside landscaping. The end result has been a reduction in build costs of 20% and an increase in units of 20%
