Interiors for Novotel Wroclaw Centrum hotel is considered to be as one of the most successful renovations of Orbis Group (a Accor Hotels parent company) for years 2015 and 2016 in Central Europe Hospitality. Interior design project for common areas has been prepared by Tremend company in 2015 and 2016 and in this year it was built. Project has won International Property Award – Best Hotel Interiors Poland 2016/2017, Builder Laur 2016 and was a Property Design Awards 2017 nominee in Best Hotel Interiors category.
Architects challenge was to redesign the common areas and conference rooms located on the spacious ground floor in accordance to changing hospitality client needs. Tremend lead designers Magdalena Federowicz-Boule and Piotr Kalinowski goal was to not only take care of modern hospitality clients, but also to set standard for brand in the Central Europe area. Cooperation of Tremend Warsaw and Wroclaw office has lead to interesting design choices, which is joining travelers with local society. The renovated building is an important element of city scape constructed in 1960s and the design has revealed many of the raw construction and installation originally kept in the renovation. This created a modern but honest design which is a background to technology and modern era overlapping zones of the lobby and F&B.
„We wanted to create a multifunctional space, where the guest can terraform his own area to work, play and relax. The new lobby dynamics is revolutionizing” – says Magdalena Federowicz-Boule and Piotr Kalinowski from Tremend
The color scheme is vibrant, but mild and raw corresponding with natural and honest material choices. The furniture mostly are mobile, and the dividers are light and transparent and can be removed or moved with ease. Very important aspect of each Tremend hospitality project is lighting – discrete overall lighting enhancing the experience and colors, with bold major signature lamps which carries the brand identity – for example “Marquee” NOVO lamp above the sharing table.
The kids area is a spacious space where kids can safely play, near the parents can sit and enjoy the meal or a drink. NOVO2 bar is the center of the lobby making sure it gravitates guests on every time and makes them easy to buy and enjoy F&B offer.
Novotel Wroclaw Centrum by Tremend is a great example of how the hospitality experience evolves and brands are moving with them to share an experience of cozy and connected travelling.
