After acquiring a 960m2 central plot in Kuweit City, a major Kuweity financial investment company requested a concept study for a landmark mixed-use building that will house their headquarters and commercial space on lower levels. While site analysis informed space planning studies maximizing the commercial potential of the building’s soffit, several options were visited in terms of massing, materiality and elevation treatment that needed to incorporate both a shading system and a lighting system that will give the building a changing appearance by night emphasizing its landmark stature.
