The new nursery is placed by the sea, on the tip of Islands Brygge in Copenhagen.
The nursery is designed in accordance with the surrounding existing buildings, an area characterised by small boathouses and small dwellings.
The nursery is decorated with numerous colours, patterned wallpaper and tiles. This gives the impression of a large jewellery box, and creates a colourful interior and fun playhouse for the children.
There are two playgrounds, an inner playground, sheltered by the building giving the smallest children a perfect spot for outdoor play, whilst the larger children can play on the outer playground facing the sea.
