A 60,000 square foot teaching park at the New York Hall of Science, the largest science playground in the United States, encourages visitors to learn principles of physics through interactive exhibits and architectural elements. A series of steel pylons support a suspended walkway along the terrace, providing a elevated promenade and views over the park and beyond. The regular rhythm of this structure creates a sense of order within the exuberance of the shapes and colors of the activities/exhibits. The newly completed Garden of Science is designed for younger visitors. Here, rolling landscape and water elements define the area, an age-appropriate landscaped environment for science exploration.
