LandmArch. proudly presents the one and only parkour training ground in Greece, powered by Athens Parkour Academy "New World"
"New World" is the outcome of the owner's great love for Parkour, since himself is one of the first Parkour athletes in Greece and a proud member of the Fédération Internationale des Arts Du Déplacement (FIADD).
The spot occupies a total area of 140m2 (90m2 ground floor and 50m2 loft).
The basic idea has been the one of creating a freestyle, pure geometric space, that could help athletes train in a safe area before moving outdoors. Therefore, all materials were chosen to provide both safety and ecological quality. All mats have anti-vibration properties and are provided with eco-friendly guarantee.
Colors play an important role for the spot. While main colors are grey, black and white, some vibrant colors (yellow, green, blue and purple) transform the spot into a vivid and cheerful place, where senses are awakened and sessions gain a playful interest.
A manga-character graffiti is designed next to the entrance, welcoming athletes as a pleasant surprise. Manga characters are also found in different places (w.c. and rest areas that have to be spoted somehow).
The sessions area is occupied with a three-dimensional steel construction of beams and columns, as well as with wooden obstacles in different colors and sizes.
Owner's private office is placed on the loft, and is separated from the rest area by a wooden construction of vertical rectangular beams.
Outside the office we come across a resting area divided in two. One for gamers (PS5, table games) and another for relax and chilling.
Artificial light is clean and can vary its power, according to the needs of each area and each session. Pure, natural light overwhelms the place as well, both in the ground floor and the loft.
