This project was the winning proposal of a private competition held by the client to renovate an office building from the 1970´s. Our proposal aimed at concentrating the design effort in key areas were its impact would be greater. We proposed an open plan with a clean and straightforward layout both architecturally and technically. Working stations are complemented with casual and formal meeting areas, as well as centalized services and facilities. A linear plenum contains all main ducts, pipes and wiring which are distributed across the plan to different spaces. On the ground floor, we proposed a covered garden alongside the entrance corridor which connects laterally with the employee lounge. The roof was renovated as an event space for large gatherings.
