At the heart of Maniago’s sporting tradition, a redevelopment project is taking shape with a vision focused on the future of sport and the local community.
The project involves the modernization of the “T. Bertoli” municipal sports ground, a historic football facility and a key reference point for many athletes. Used daily by local sports associations, the complex required a solution capable of ensuring year-round usability, safety, and high-quality playing conditions.
The intervention includes the transformation of the main natural grass pitch into a next-generation synthetic turf field certified according to LND standards, designed to provide maximum durability, excellent playing quality, and full usability even during the most challenging weather conditions.
Special attention has been given to both technical and environmental aspects: the new high-performance drainage system, compliant with the LND 2019 regulations, will ensure rapid rainwater disposal, while part of the sub-base structure will be constructed using certified recycled materials, in line with the principles of ecological transition and environmental sustainability.
More than a simple functional upgrade, this project represents a true enhancement of the sports facility, offering the community a modern, inclusive, and sustainable space ready to welcome future generations of athletes.
