Waldemarson Berglund is invited to propose new facades and roof top houses at Östermalmstorg.The irregular pattern of glass and light green marble squares of the facade, inspired by the ornamentic market hall and the trees of the Hedvig Eleonora cemetery, wrap the retail/office program. The two story high apartments are clad in weathered copper.At daytime the high density areas of light marble connect to the sky, leaving the dark glass attached to the ground. During night the marble turns dark, and again, connects with the sky, leaving the glass illuminating the square.
