The renovation of this existing 1960s carport, at the rear of a Queenslander house in a quiet suburban street in New Farm, doubles as a covered entertaining area.
The existing timber structure and original angled steel columns have been retained, while a new timber and fibreglass fence, as well as a battened trellis, give the space a sense of enclosure and help to connect the space to the garden and backyard.
