An office space that feels bespoke to you, your culture, and the people who work with you. A chartered accountant's firm creatively, commercially, and culturally adorns an impeccable, seamless experience both spatially and experientially—modern, luxurious, leaning tech, but functional and never complicated.
The office is located in a commercial complex in Chamrajpet, Central Bangalore. One of the main challenges was zoning the space to achieve maximum efficiency and ample light and ventilation. As the director wanted, a modern minimalistic working space and ample storage space were two primary criteria in the brief. The operable windows being only on one side of the office space was an enormous challenge for the design team to plan for air ventilation. The office space is zoned with cabins placed on one side, and the conference area is toward the tall fixed glazing of the façade, the workspace right in front of the cabins.
A counter meets visitors arriving at the minimalistic art-panelled reception area, and the reception is wrapped in white marble with abstract lines and curves, creating wavy patterns. The PVD gold finish detail around the mouldings contrasts with the overall grey tone.
The main workspace is flooded with light that enters through the building's glazed frontage, passing through the conference room. It contains marble finish tiled desks and bespoke storage units tucked toward the edge of the property. The wooden ceiling and the checkered black and white flooring add to the workspace's ambience. All the lighting is connected to Bluetooth-enabled dimmers to regulate power consumption.
The MD’s cabin contrasts the subtle grey with a shade of turquoise and rattan. An element of luxury is added with a grey marble-finished desk. The other director's cabin beholds a white contemporary ambience with a wooden rafter design, camouflaging the storage space. The conference room is also treated with white to reflect the maximum light.
