Located at the border between the suburbs and the agrarian countryside, the new bowling hall of the Municipality of Udine is a building with a variable section that allows natural light from above in all the interior parts. There are four areas: The entry hall with the cafe lit from a central lantern, the auditorium with an inclined roof and clerestory windows, the main hall with tribunes lit by continuous sheds and the changing rooms, also provided with clerestory windows. The exterior fronts have two metal-clad walls that cover the whole length and link the different heights with a curvilinear profile. For those who approach the building from afar, the profile stands against the skyline of the Alps above a thicket of trees that provide shadow for the parking lot.
