Located in a partially grade II listed building, the brief was to design the interior of a new headquarters for a property development and investment company.
The need for the new offices arose from a merger between two organisations, and the challenge was to design a workspace that brought the combined workforces together while reflecting their individual cultures and ways of working.
Fletcher Priest recognised this as a great opportunity for the two companies to re-brand their new office space to combine their working cultures and incorporate new ways of working. The open plan space offers a more democratic and collaborative environment and makes it easier to communicate compared to the cellular arrangement of their previous offices.
The fit-out was completed within a tight 10 week timescale meaning good communication between the design team and contractor was of great importance.
