how can we LIVE with architecture? too often it is consumed, used up, and moved past. maybe even more of a tragedy, it's loved and left. this project aims to develop a component-based architecture allowing permanent, transportable, expandable dwellings for all people in all positions in life. drawing from modular, prefab design principles, incorporating the strength and permanence of a steel frame and durable materials, and utilizing the systems afforded through modern technology, this prototype could stand alone as an independent single 'mod', incorporated into a tower-framed multi-unit, or expanded into any size residence. and the steel frame, simple assembly, self-reliance, and transportablilty mean that there's no more 'outgrowing your home or your location, only growing your home or moving with it to the next adventure.
