Nefis Çankaya Residences has been conceived not merely as a composition of adjacent buildings, but as a habitat that derives its identity from the intrinsic qualities of the site and its environmental context. Rather than imposing itself upon the land, the project establishes a spatial and architectural language shaped by the terrain and its surrounding landscape.
Located on a steep, peninsula-like parcel at the edge of a valley, the project has been carefully configured to ensure that each building minimally interferes with the others. This approach allows natural light and uninterrupted views to reach every residential unit. By prioritizing pedestrian movement, the development has been designed as a vehicle-free environment, where circulation is supported through recreational areas and an integrated network of walking paths.
A continuous green texture has been formed to envelop the site, aiming to dissolve the architectural masses within the topography. Centered on a human-oriented design approach and guided by a respectful attitude toward the natural terrain, the project aspires to express an organic presence that appears inherently rooted in the land. The buildings frame a series of distinct plateaus that form intimate gathering spaces and small public squares, while water features, green roof gardens, and recreational areas contribute to the creation of diverse, high-quality landscape environments that enrich everyday life.
