1986 built house bought by the client 2014 was uninhabitable. Could not be heated past 58 Deg at 10 deg weather.
Talo was brought to make the house near passive, and thus this summer we will have THE FIRST RENOVATION in Greenwich, CT that is also NEAR PASSIVE.
One fireplace can heat the 7000 sf house if needed, but we will have two.
Passive USA made special MIT South wall glass and Alpen windows made this project possible as the walls and roof are easily done to twice the Code, but windows are hard to find in USA - except by importing from Europe..
We will Photograph the house in May - August, as we finishing details
