NCIS - Tile house

Yverdon-les-Bains, Switzerland

Project Featured on Sep 05, 2013
YEAR
2013
The project is situated on a sloped vineyard and faces Valeyres-sous-Rances’s old town.
The house, entirely covered with tiles, was designed to be compact. Its plan is organized in split levels to avoid earthwork on site in order to preserve the maximum of it.
As the lower part of the site is intended to become a villa area the implantation of the project was drawn to benefit of two beautiful views framed by large windows, one over the old town's roofs and the second over the Swiss Alps.
Appearing as a "belvédère" the large living-room takes advantage of a second daylight towards the north.
