The apartment feels like a suburban home. That is how you can describe this interior from ZROBIM architects. The apartment is located in a modern house on the last 8th floor. Initially, the room had one level and high ceilings of 7 meters.
However, during the design process, the designers of the bureau decided to make a mezzanine floor and create a master bedroom on it, thereby increasing the area of the apartment by 30%.
So, the total floor area of the apartment is 80 sq.m., and the planning solution has got the following look: kitchen-living room, children's room with a balcony, and bathroom on the first floor, and the bedroom - more isolated on the second floor. The stylistics of the interior reflect the character and lifestyle of the owners, who work from home in the IT field: calm light colors, flowing into each other rooms and furniture, a minimum of unnecessary details. On the whole, the interior is very cozy and family-oriented, and it is difficult to imagine a single person's life in it.
Despite its relatively small area, this apartment accommodates many interesting design solutions. So, in the kitchen area, in addition to the standard work surface, there is also a small island, which can be an additional area for cooking, and a half-bar counter for breakfast, for example. In the living room hanging cabinet with rounded turns into a console under the TV, where the organized storage area for remote controls and other small items, and under the closet itself conveniently lives a robot vacuum cleaner. In the bathroom, an unusual design device is the use of different colored tiles with black plumbing, which makes the room more architectural and geometric. The bedroom in the project is also interesting because it combines three zones at once: a zone for sleeping, two working places by the window and a recreation zone with an armchair and a floor lamp, where you can sit and read.
Another highlight of the bedroom is the skylight, which additionally lights up the room during the day and allows you to watch the stars at night.
