For the past few decades, the environment has been a major concern surrounded by much interest and discourse all around the world. People have been working to preserve the environment and decrease pollution in various ways, and the development of science and technology has laid the foundation for putting them into action. Especially, with the rise of electricity-based mobility including hydrogen vehicles to replace internal combustion engines, our lives are facing a turning point towards a better future. In line with this stance, we designed an exhibition hall to convey the importance of environmental preservation and eco-friendly mobility near a hydrogen and electric charging station located in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. Through an attempt to combine real space with a metaverse, the importance we hope to present is demonstrated through virtual realities.
All resources and energy in nature are in balance, circulating with one another and refining themselves. We have planned a streamlined flow in the space to make organic connections between different exhibition rooms. The space, composed of four sections, interacts with users and shows various natural landscapes through the display panels. In the Reality Driving Zone, we present a special program that allows you to drive in the magnificent nature by combining model cars and VR technology. In the Hologram Zone, you can see the natural restoration process of non-permanent automobile interior and exterior materials. The Promotion Zone advertises the launch of new eco-friendly cars by season and provides media education on eco-friendly energy. Lastly, in the Recycling Zone, you can appreciate the infinite circulation of natural resources and energy through educational materials. Through this space, we aim to convey the importance of nature and eco-friendliness, blooming inside and outside the metaverse, to the present and future generations.
