Watzmann calling: "Vertical wildlife" - Haus der Berge, Berchtesgaden
In May 2013, the National Park Centre "Haus der Berge" in Berchtesgaden was opened. With the support of livebau, the electrical engineering of the entire house was installed.
Designed as the "Gateway to the National Park Berchtesgaden", the National Park Centre "Haus der Berge" brings together an information and education center under one roof, as well as a large outdoor area. Guests of the centre especially experience a "Walkable Scenics", built from color-neutral, domestic timber. Thus, the visitors shall be thrilled to visit the real nature in the National Park. It covers the entire natural area of the park - from the bottom of Lake Königssee to the highest peaks of the Berchtesgaden Alps. During their exhibition visit, guests walk through the different habitats that change depending on the season. By sound and light shows, the course of the seasons is made an exceptional experience.
livebau solutions was responsible for the overall electronic control of the National Park Centre of Berchtesgaden. The experts from Seeshaupt programmed the superordinate controller of Creston. The individual sub-systems with interfaces for building and monitoring technology, the KNX system, DMX control and media technology have been brought together, managed and controlled.
The total range of management services includes installations in the actual exhibition spaces, in the movie theater as well as in the seminar rooms. Also, security cameras, alarm contacts and the complete interior and exterior lighting were installed.
