This space, reflects a sense of boldness and vibrancy, awakening the joy within the residents. Well, this is the concept of ‘One Step Closer to Indianness’! The client approached us with an idea of storytelling through design, along with contemporary aesthetics.
Rising above the conventional wood and veneer panels, we opted for a bold aesthetic with warm tones and earthy hues. The boldness is added through the vibrant metallic panel in muted red hues. Its clean lines and edges curate a minimal aesthetic as desired by the client.
Transitioning to the bar area, it is designed with a contemporary theme through neutral hues and minimal design. To add a sense of drama, we incorporated an organic-formed navy blue sofa, that juxtaposes the space with style. Lush plants act as living artworks, enhancing air quality and contributing to the well-being of the occupants. The design is centered around a courtyard connecting residents with the outdoors and curating liveliness in the residence. Further, natural light floods the space through this courtyard, creating a sense of openness that continues around the overall design.
In essence, the residence aims to bring the occupants one step closer to Indianness with vibrant interior spaces and decor that serve as a timeless, and culturally immersive living environment.
