NAR is the
digital experience centre exhibiting Bilkom’ s product portfolio that is
promoting a digital life style focused on Mobility. NAR is designed by İnanç Eray in line with a
series of formal research that has been performed in IEA’s studio.
As the authorized distributor
of products that are designed and manufactured using advanced design and
digital manufacturing techniques, Bilkom is one of Turkey’s leading technology
firms. Therefore it is vital to express such concepts for a space that will
define firm’s corporate identity.
NAR is designed as a network
structure morphed through swarm dynamics that will offer flexibility for the
displayed objects at various sizes as well as a comprehensive visual brand
image.
The overall composition
contains a three-piece island unit and a three-piece display shelf where each
component blends into each other in such a way that ties the design visually
and structurally into a stable whole.
While supplying fundamentals
for a future concept store, both the island and the shelving unit satisfy the
programmatic needs for the experience centre. Due to the application of
advanced 3d software from the field of ship design, the office is enabled to
explore complex surfaces and their productivity for retail environments.
