Yazdani Studio of Cannon Design provided planning and design services for a 412,000 sm automobile manufacturing facility on a 1,000-acre site in Singur, West Bengal. In addition to master planning of the entire complex. Our scope of work included the preparation of design guidelines for print, service, and vendors' buildings, assisted the owner in preparing the space program for non-plant buildings; designed non-plant buildings including administration, lake house, recreation, training, and canteen, reviewed construction documents of non-plant buildings prepared by others; and provided limited construction-phase services to verify conformance with design intent.
This project has been designed to meet LEED platinum certification and is expected when complete to be submitted for the designation.
