Designed on the guidelines of Sustainable architecture, Mystic Wind townhouses is a 40 units project in Bangalore, that combine ecological responsibility with contemporary design.
The units are designed with reverse planning, where the main vehicular entry is positioned at the back of the house along with the living room facing a private garden. Since light and ventilation is allowed from only two directions, a skylight is introduced that floods in extra light, reducing the need for artificial lighting. The garage at the ground level and balconies/overhangs at the upper floor block direct radiation thus reducing cooling requirements inside the townhouse.
Landscaped gardens at all levels help in cooling the space further, also infusing fresh oxygen into the abode.
