With the increasing need for housing units within Kampala, the proposal mitigates these needs through providing a modernist type apartment block setting that will house 80 units (mixed with two bedroomed and three bedroomed) with a central garden separating the two wings of which each wing is ornamented with roof gardens to reduce on the thermal heating and the heat island effect.
The project comes in as an overhaul of an existing project to bring life back into the spaces as most of it is lost to the concrete needs.
