The multi-disciplinary health center was created in the former Jacques Brel Community Center and Nursery. The whole building has been restructured aiming the BBC Effinergie label (low energy building).
The former shapes of the building were wrapped in a metallic mantilla, that confirms the project's formal unity and identity, according to his situation as a backdrop of "les copains d'abord" square.
The partial demolition of the former Center reinforces visual and physical continuity inside the "Quartier du Canal" neighbourhood, between "les copains d'abord" square and "Martin's Elm" area. The mantilla cladding provides the privacy as required in such medical and examination premises. Jacques Brel's statue, already in place is now emphasized by this urban and architectural design. The frescos of molten glass have been cut out in the laser-cut aluminium lacework.
