The space for Mustakbal clean tech’s new office is located in Amman, Jordan’s Wadi Saqra area. The office is found on the 4th floor of the ST. RED Business Tower, a modern high-end retail and office building. The 200 square meter interior project, was developed by two independent designers; Omar Qubain and Hussein Beydoun.
Starting at the entrance a bold blue strip of epoxy paint strikes across multiple surfaces of the office interior. Reflecting Mustakbal’s business of expanding cutting edge clean technology solutions in a world still fixated on traditional energy generating industries.
Qubain and Beydoun have created an edgy, modern office that is still warm and inviting, with a plan that offers both private and open spaces. An informal work + rest island bar, a state-of-the-art conference room as well as three separate offices.
Swedish pine and natural plants were used all throughout the interior, emphasising the contrast between sleek and tidy offices while still providing a sense of natural warmth and comfort. Lighting units were custom designed and fabricated out of Swedish pine too, elevating the quality of the entire space.
Qubain, who was also the on-site project manager, worked closely with the client. Regularly checking in, to choose all colors, materials and finishings. this meticulous back and forth process guaranteed that the client’s creative vision was accurately realised throughout, construction, architecture and design.
