The Cleveland Museum of Future Nostalgia is a community co-op which provides the resources for the documentation of Cleveland’s physical and cultural past, present and future infrastructure. The MOFN exists as a grant-funded LiveWiki project and thus is edited and maintained solely by participants. The goal of the MOFN is to provide extensive photo, video, text and audio documentation of Cleveland. Members are able to take classes and attend workshops where they learn to operate high-fidelity audio/visual equipment, after which they can borrow these items (much like a library) to undertake their own individual archival agendas. The MOFN provides both the capture and storage facilities and all data collected becomes public domain. Community moderation of content through experienced participants prevents inappropriate content and organizes the uploaded media.
