Langston University is in the process of establishing a world-class museum and cultural resource center for the interpretation and study of African Americans in the central United States, and especially those with Oklahoma roots.
The museum will include over 15,000 square feet of permanent exhibit space, a visitor center, museum store, and a temporary gallery for traveling exhibits. The cultural resource center will store and protect documents, artifacts and collections that support the museum's mission.
This facility will become the world's destination for any individual or institution conducting research on African Americans in the central United States.
