Museum Graham is a museum building for the deconstructivist american artist Dan Graham. Similar to his work, the museum brings a new critical insight on how a contemporary museum should look like. Colliding volumes, twisted surfaces and cascading terraces brings Graham's distortion of the environment at the heart of the building. The museum takes the visitor in a roller-coaster journey through a series of ramps, stairs and tilted planes. Thus the visitor experiences the space, allowing him to contemplate the exposed arts from different angles and become critical about his environment. The last space resembles to a final showdown with its spherical shape and offers a stunning view of the harbor of Rotterdam.
