In this weekend retreat we explore the de-materialization of MUD by repetitive use of total 24 modular rammed earth walls. The architecture itself paints the interior palette, through infill of indirect sunlight throughout the living areas, with its materials, essentially, MUD, steel, glass and stones. A modern approach to an ancient building technology amidst existing flora and vast open landscape with spill out activities and a floating roof is a far stretch achieved from an initial mere studio like brief given by the client.
