Spacesmith designed the 33rd and 49th floors for MTV Networks at its Times Square location. The overall design is open, flexible and sustainable. The concept is interactive, energetic and mimics the area’s sense of movement. Large graphics of fast moving New York crowds and taxis, connect public spaces; this art program even extends to the main areas, meeting rooms, hallways, lobbies, pantry and elevator areas. The design includes patterns of geometric shapes that are repeated throughout. Turquoise, white, chocolate brown and gray colors infuse each floor to create a clean, engaging environment.
