The architecture studio aims to act as a dynamic showroom by leaving behind the use of typical solid dividing walls for simple glass screens along the communal hallway. In this way, it is possible to observe the firm’s work in process within an open transparent space. Besides, by having an elevated location and with complete glazing facades in all spaces, it is possible to maintain an eye contact towards the city from the main entrance and at the same time to fill the entire office with natural light.
The main design goal was to create a workspace which respond directly to the needs of their own office. By a simple plan layout, the project places a sequence of efficiently and completely custom made designed spaces in a way that it promotes individual work as well as group collaboration. The office has a workshop area that encourages an open work atmosphere and a continuous exchange of ideas among its designers. Other areas function as privacy modules that allow the formal meetings with clients or casual talks with technical suppliers.
Finally, the project aspires to reflect a sober and contemporary architecture character through the use of materials with a neutral basis such as concrete, glass and white color both in walls and furniture.
