The Athletic Support Building is designed as a two-story building, approximately 44,000 square feet in an area to be developed overlooking the north end zone of the Fred G. Hughes Stadium on currently undeveloped land. With Track and Field and Cross Country events held on land surrounding the proposed building, the facility provides spaces for administration, storage, lockers and welcome areas serving these events. The building design and site development permits the facility to establish a sense of enclosure to the north bowl of the stadium, that will amplify the energy within the stadium while at the same time establishing a front door for the Athletic Department.
