The project reinterprets the traditional Swiss chalet language through a refined contemporary lens, subtly infused with oriental influences. With 11 bedrooms, 15 bathrooms, multiple living areas, a library, and generous dining spaces, the chalet unfolds as a sequence of distinct yet harmonious atmospheres.
Materiality plays a central role in shaping the experience. Warm wood species, natural stone, and handcrafted elements are combined with bespoke furnishings and curated artworks, creating a rich and layered interior identity. Each space is conceived individually, while maintaining a cohesive architectural language throughout.
The social areas — including the main living rooms, dining spaces, and the reinterpreted carnotzet — are designed to balance sophistication and conviviality. Traditional alpine elements are revisited with contemporary detailing, enhanced by carefully integrated indirect lighting and custom-made features.
The bedrooms are treated as unique environments, combining vibrant textiles, bespoke artworks, and tailored joinery to create intimate and welcoming retreats. A strong emphasis is placed on texture, contrast, and craftsmanship.
A defining feature of the project is the 200 m² indoor swimming pool, conceived as an immersive architectural environment. The space integrates advanced projection technology, allowing dynamic visual scenarios — from alpine ice landscapes to aquatic or celestial atmospheres — to be displayed in real time. This fusion of architecture and digital media transforms the pool into a constantly evolving sensory experience.
Throughout the chalet, attention to detail, material precision, and spatial composition contribute to a unified vision: an alpine retreat that seamlessly merges tradition, innovation, and experiential design.
