This garden has wonderful mountain views and also faces a street. Layered planting is used to enhance the views, conceal the street, and provide a sense of enclosure. Simple structural elements complement the spare architecture. The exuberant yet disciplined planting of ornamental grasses, shrubs and perennials integrates the clean lines of the house with the tall natural grasses that surround the garden. Beautiful mountain and garden views are enjoyed outside and from within the house.
