The project was developed as our interpretation of the Prairie Style as made famous by Frank Lloyd Wright, who’s work the client was fond of.
The brick veneer is fragmented into vertical and horizontal planes while the low slope roofs divide the house's mass, emphasizing the horizontality associated with the Prairie Style.
The ribbon windows, which are a prominent feature on the elevations, offer both natural light and privacy while the large corner windows offer stunning views of the Rideau Canal and Lansdowne Park.
