This showroom concept was developed for a motor group in South Africa to showcase not only new and used cars, but also their vintage car collection. As a highly visible building on a busy intersection corner, the design celebrates movement and circulation and view points into the building from the different directions. The vintage show room framed boxes on the top level is rotated to be screened off from the harsh west afternoon sun and also to increase visibility from the main road.
All services and service yards including service platforms, oil stores, washing bays and mechanic areas are enclosed and screened off from the public to only put emphasis of the on the showcasing products.
