The Headquarters for Moto Clube de Faro is the result of 30 years work on behalf of motorcycling.It was inspired on the motorcycling world and on the traditional values of local architecture.Other than the social areas such as bar, exposition area, shop, library, offices, gym, there is a dormitory with 14 beds, for visitors, as well as a kitchen, garages and a large warehouse. The club want their new space opened to the public at large. It cost around a million and a half dolars to build – on land given by the town council – and involved a lot of voluntary labour. Construction took three years, and was finished off with private money and a bank loan.
