When it was first
conceived 50 years ago, the fantastic Pushkinsky Theatre (known then as the Russian)
was recognized throughout Russia as the leading example of cinema innovation.
Today, evoking the very same spirit of INNOVATION & PROJECTION, the Pushkinsky
Theatre is transformed into an extraordinary centre of Cinematic Culture in the
heart of Moscow: the home of the MOSCOW INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL (MIFF).
In order to push the limits of a radical
reformation and present the Pushkinsky Theater as a hub of current Cinematic
Culture, the existing façade has been renovated with the concept of PROJECTION
to accommodate additional elements of cinematic program.
