The refurbishment of the second most important stadium in Santiago, with a capacity of 47,000 spectators, came from the necessity of the Colo Colo Football to renew its image to a modern and stronger one, visible in its stadium. This translated from new accesses to new public bathrooms, administration offices, TV booths, etc. All of the bleaches were changed from benches to indivicual sitting, using a pattern with the colors of the team, black and white. The project also incorporated a Football Museum, with the team's history and accomplishments, design with the collaboration from specialized journalists and profesional designers. Finally, for the VIP seats, a tensile and textile PVC structure was built, to provide shade and cover from rain.
