De Hoorneboeg is like a mysterious hill on the Hoorneboegse Heide. De Buitenplaats will be given a new interpretation in 2018 as Cultural Outdoor, with attention for culture, nature and spirituality. In the Garden is the sub-area of the former gardener's house. It consists of an ensemble of buildings and a former vegetable garden, which together form a municipal monument. The gardener's house, the wooden shed, the stone barn, the greenhouse and the vegetable garden all get a new future to visit for the residents of Hilversum. The monumental gardener's house is transformed into a restaurant and the greenhouse is rebuilt from a ruin. There are 2 solid wooden houses realized and fully energy efficient with ecological materials.
