Full residential renovation of a four-bedroom, two-bath beach house located in the Ditch Plains area of Montauk, NY.

Inspired by the Japanese style burnt wood siding, Shou Sugi Ban, this modern beach house uses clear cedar horizontal siding with an ebonized wood stain to create a similar effect. The large open window allows light to pass into the clean white box interior.

The thin lines of the low profile roof and crisp mitered corner edge of the building adds to modern feel with the frameless glass railing on the deck over looking the property.
