Monolith Table
All too often, the pairing of a dining table & chairs is not fully considered. Monolith Table, however, is conceived as a singular, eroded experience. When not is use, the chairs can be tuckedin leaving an abstract, solid image. The outer surface is bleached while the inner lining reveals the woods rich color. A functional, interpretation of the monolith from 2001: A Space Odyssey. It is a timeless piece that gets better with age & wear.
